What You’ll Do
We are seeking a motivated and organised Social Value Executive to support the delivery, monitoring and reporting of social value commitments at our new Wirral depot. Reporting to the Social Value Manager, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about making a positive social impact locally.
This is an apprenticeship role, and you will complete a Level 4 Project Management qualification over 18 months as part of the programme.
You will develop expertise in social value delivery, gain insight into bus depot operations, and work closely with the Social Value Manager, internal teams and external partners to deliver meaningful community initiatives.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, well-organised, and keen to build a career in social value and project management. This is an entry-level role with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate social value activity in line with project timelines and objectives across the Wirral with guidance and support from the Social Value Manager.
· Track, measure and report social value outputs and outcomes against agreed targets.
· Work alongside Human Resources to recruit individuals from targeted groups.
· Maintain accurate records and evidence for reporting, tenders and client reporting.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure social value activity is aligned with day‑to‑day operations.
· Build and manage partnerships with third sector, industry and community organisations to support the Social Value strategy.
· Promote awareness of social value across the business, embedding it within the Wirral depot culture.
· Identify opportunities to maximise impact and support continuous improvement.
· Complete a Level 4 Project Management qualification as part of the role.
· Recruit, support and engage with Social Value Champions.
What We’re Looking For
· A strong interest in supporting communities and addressing social issues.
· Good organisational, time-management and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
· Confident using IT systems (e.g. Excel) and willing to learn.
· Ability to lead small- to medium-scale events and activities.
· Self-motivated, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
· Able to deliver work on time while completing apprenticeship requirements.
· Willingness to undertake and complete a Level 4 Project Management qualification.

Pay & Hours
£13.45 per hour, part-time 30 hours per week
